My name is Jen and I am the proud mom of three amazing young adults. My oldest and youngest, Casey and Rob, both have moderate autism and Mandy is their sister. Cory is married to Mandy and is what every mom hopes for in a son-in-law.
I will never say that I am an expert in autism or any other disability. What I will say is that I have learned a lot through the years and that’s what I hope to share with you. Although autism is what I am most familiar with, I have worked with many other disabilities (and have a niece with CP).
No matter what the disability, the challenges are there and so are the rewards. My hope is that my stories will inspire you and make you laugh. After all, laughing is as healing as crying and is much more fun!
